Ten healthy weaning piglets of Landrace × Yorkshire( LY) in good body condition with body weight of( 24 ±1. 27) kg were selected,and ten weaning piglets of Berkshire × LY( BLY) and Duroc × LY( DLY) with similar situation were also selected respectively to study the growth performance of different cross combinations. Three groups of experimental pigs were bred with conventional diet. The results showed that the average dry matter intakes of combinations of BLY and DLY were slightly decreased by 4. 97% and 5. 47% compared with the combination of LY,while average daily gain was significantly increased by 3. 13% and 1. 14%,and feed-weight ratio was decreased by 7. 94% and 6. 35%,respectively; economic benefit per pig was increased by 0. 61 and 0. 41 yuan,respectively. The combinations of BLY and DLY have better growth performance,which can be promoted in the production.

The paper was to study construction and expression of rGhrelin( pcDNA3- Ghrelin) and its effect on growth performance and gastric acid secretion of rats. Ghrelin amplified from gastric mucosa of weaned piglets was cloned into the expression vector pcDNA3 to get recombinant plasmid pcDNA3- Ghrelin. Twelve weaning rats were randomly divided into two groups,six rats each group. The rats in each treatment group were individually injected with 100μg of naked plasmid pcDNA3- Ghrelin,and the rats in control group were injected with empty plasmid. The weights and feed consumption of rats were measured after injection for 7,14 and 29 d,respectively. The rats were sacrificed at the end of the experiment,and their stomach was separated and weighed,the pH value of gastric juice was measured as well. The results showed that the average daily gain of rats at7 and 29 d were significantly higher than that in control group,respectively( P <0. 05),and feed consumption did not have significant changes; the feed meat ratio of rats in the treatment groups was significantly lower than that in control group( P <0. 05); the gastric relative weight and gastric weight did not change significantly,while the pH value of gastric juice of rats in treatment groups was significantly lower than that in control group( P<0. 05). This indicated that after transfected expression of muscle tissue,ghrelin played an important regulatory role in growth and gastric acid secretion of rats.

To explore the correlation of evaluation methods on boar semen quality,the motility,PI staining,hypotonic swelling test,Rh123 staining and FITC- PNA staining of boar sperm were checked in the study,and its correlation with IVF was statistically calculated. The results showed that various indicators had strong linear correlation with each other,and the correlation degree between acrosome integrity and IVF rate was the highest,indicating that acrosome integrity was superior to other indicators in predicting IVF rate.

[Objective] The research aimed to provide theoretical basis for further popularization and application of Berkshire Pig in Southeast Guizhou. [Method]The carcass traits and meat quality of Berkshire( B) × Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y),Duroc( D) × Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y)and Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y) were determined by slaughter test. And the application effect of Berkshire in the minority areas was analyzed.[Result]From the carcass traits,the hybridized pig of Berkshire( B) ×Landrace( L) ×Yorkshire( Y) had higher slaughter rate and lower lean meat percentage,having extremely significant difference with Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y) and significant difference with Duroc( D) × Landrace( L) ×Yorkshire( Y). The meat indices of Berkshire( B) × Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y) were better than that of Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y) and Duroc( D) ×Landrace( L) ×Yorkshire( Y). The eye muscle area of Berkshire( B) ×Landrace( L) ×Yorkshire( Y) had extremely significant difference with Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y) and significant difference with Duroc( D) × Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y). The meat color,marbling and cooking percentage and other meat indices were similar with that of Jianhe White Xiang Pig,Nayong Nuogu Pig and Cola Pig. [Conclusion] Berkshire( B) ×Landrace( L) × Yorkshire( Y) was more suiTab. for residents in the minority mountain areas,so it was worthy to be popularized.

To investigate the effect of feed protein levels on growth and feed utilization of juvenile Lateolabrax japonicus,fish meal was used as the major protein source to prepare five isoenergetic experimental feeds containing 35.0%,37.5%,40.0%,42.5%and 45.0%protein,respectively.Juvenile L.japonicus with the initial average body weight of(84.81±0.92)g were fed for 75 d to determine the best protein level for juvenile L.japonicus.The results showed that the relative weight gain rate,specific growth rate and feed conversion ratio in the group containing 39.85% protein were extremely higher than those in the groups containing 34.76% and 37.54%protein (P<0.01),but had no significant difference with that in the group containing 42.34%protein(P>0.05).Protein efficiency ratio in the group containing 39.85%protein was also significantly higher than those in the groups containing 34.76%,42.34%and 45.03%protein(P<0.05),while had no significant difference with that in the group containing 37.54% protein (P>0.05).In this experiment,based on quadratic model regression analysis of specific growth rate and protein efficiency ratio,growth performance and feed utilization rate of L.japonicus was the best when the protein content of feed was from 38.87%to 41.50%.

In order to reduce the economic costs for breeding Tenebrio molitor L. and increase the utilization rate of corn stalk,with corn,wheat bran and corn stalk as the raw materials,13 different compound feed were designed by Minitab( R) 15. 1. 0. 0. The design was then divided into two groups based on addition or without addition of vegetable leaves to study the effects of compound feed and vegetable leaves on growth and development of T. molitor. The results showed that body weight,duration,crude protein content and pupation rate of larvae and emergence rate of adults were significantly affected by compound feed and vegetable leaves( P <0. 05). The larvae bred with feed 5 had the largest body weight,with the shortest duration; the larvae bred with feed 3 had the highest pupation rate; the larvae bred with feed 7 had the highest crude protein content;the adult bred with feed 9 had the largest emergence rate. Overall breeding effect of feed 7 + vegetable leaves was better than any other groups,with ideal indicators,higher utilization rate and lower breeding cost. Its formula was w( wheat bran) = 33. 33%,w( corn) = 33. 33%,w( corn stalks) = 33. 33%. Therefore,the growth of T. molitor was significantly affected by feed types,and feed 7 + vegetable leaves could be promoted in the production.
